24:14. ദാവീദ് ഗാദിനോടു: ഞാൻ വലിയ വിഷമത്തിൽ ആയിരിക്കുന്നു; നാം യഹോവയുടെ കയ്യിൽ തന്നേ വീഴുക; അവന്റെ കരുണ വലിയതല്ലോ; മനുഷ്യന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഞാൻ വീഴരുതേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

24:14. David said to Gad, "I am very upset! I prefer that we be attacked by the LORD, for his mercy is great; I do not want to be attacked by men!"
